Another Bear sighting
The photo (not a very good one) is of a bear cub in the driveway on Hamilton Lane. Please be mindful of leaving food/trash out that will attract them. And of course, please be careful if you encounter one.

Please do not feed the foxes
We have been notified that the foxes are becoming a nuisance. The parks and wildlife department has indicated that they will likely remove them and possibly fine anyone who is feeding them.
The attached brochure has been supplied by them.

Maybe you like hiking and would like to hike with a partner or a group. We’ve added a new area in the Owner’s section (part of the Forums page) where you can post your interests.
Please note that hiking was just an example; feel free to post your specific interest that you would like to share with others.
Remember: Parking on the roads is illegal as are driving ATV/Snowmobiles
As you may be aware although our roads are county roads since your HOA dues pay to keep them maintained we care about our roads. Please note:
• Speeding.Please make sure you follow the speed limit as speeding vehicles diminish the surface of our roads. If you see speeding vehicles please note the license plate number and contact the police or the HOA at northstar.rules@gmail.com to report the offender. Also, adjust your speed in the winter months to allow for icy alpine conditions.
• Parking is prohibited on our roads at all times. Parking in cul-de-sacs is also prohibited. Parked cars limit emergency vehicle access to our neighborhood and impede snow removal. No parking signs at every intersection and cut de sac also include parking anywhere on the roadway. Extra vehicles may be parked at the base of Carroll Ln. by Hwy 9.
• ATV/Snowmobiles. Summit County does not allow ATV or snowmobile use on any county road. This includes North Star roads.
Be aware – there has been a bear sighting!
Looks like the bears are awake and while I’m not an expert, I bet they’re hungry so be careful.
